If you are new here, four years ago my husband and I started doing whole30 with a baby and a toddler. By the end of week one, I was OVER IT. Not because of the food, but because of how much time I had spent cooking and cleaning my darn kitchen.
I sat down with my husband and said that I needed to come up with a system to make this easier. We are both engineers and love a schedule, standard operating procedure, excel table, etc. I sat down and made “standard operating procedures” for our household. A little while later, friends asked to see my three ring binder that I operated our kitchen out of. My goals were to cook less, save money on groceries, and feed our family healthy food. After my friends saw my binder, they kept telling me that I ran my kitchen like a CFO.
