Cookie Dough Protein Bites
Easy grab and go snack!
I get asked all the time for easy snack ideas, and these protein cookie dough bites are the one I come back to again and again. They’re simple, fast, and made with just a handful of ingredients you probably already have on hand. No baking, no complicated steps, and minimal cleanup—which, if you’re juggling kids and a full kitchen, matters more than ever.
We keep a batch in the freezer at all times so there’s always something ready to grab. Just let them sit on the counter for a few minutes to soften, and they’re perfect—like a cold, chewy cookie dough treat with a little protein boost. They’ve become a go-to in our house for quick snacks, after-school bites, or something sweet without the effort.
I use an unflavored protein powder here to keep the ingredient list as simple as possible and avoid that overly sweet or artificial taste. It blends right in and lets the cookie dough flavor actually shine. For chocolate, I like chopping up Hu chocolate gems so you get little bits evenly distributed in every bite—it makes a big difference compared to just tossing in whole chips.
If you’ve been looking for a low-effort snack that still feels like a treat, this is one worth keeping in your freezer rotation.
