Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry with Ramen
A 30-Minute Dinner That Everyone Will Actually Eat
Some weeknights, you need a dinner that is fast, filling, and uses just one pan. This Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry checks all those boxes — and still tastes like something you’d order from your favorite takeout spot.
This recipe is one of my weeknight go-to’s because it’s:
✅ Quick – done in about 30 minutes
✅ Customizable – swap the protein, add more veggies
✅ Kid-approved – the slightly sweet sauce always wins them over
✅ Gluten-free + Dairy free friendly – I use Lotus Foods rice ramen, but any ramen works
Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
For the Stir Fry:
1 lb beef (sirloin, flank steak, or ground beef all work)
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 ½ cups broccoli florets
3 bricks of ramen (I use Lotus Foods gluten-free ramen*)
Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Sauce:
½ cup coconut aminos
1 ½ – 2 tsp garlic paste (adjust to taste)
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tbsp fresh ginger (or 1 tsp ground ginger – see note)
1 tbsp honey
Directions
Cook the noodles – Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the beef – Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef, season with a little salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the veggies – In the same skillet (with the beef fat), add diced peppers and broccoli. Sauté until just tender.
Make the sauce – In a small jar or bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, garlic paste, fish sauce, ginger, and honey.
Combine everything – Return the cooked beef to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and toss to coat.
Add the noodles – Stir in the drained ramen noodles, mixing well so they soak up the sauce. Let everything simmer together for about 5 minutes.
Serve & enjoy – Dish it up hot!
Notes & Tips
💡 Ginger: Fresh ginger makes a big difference here! If you don’t have it, ground ginger works in a pinch.
💡 Protein swaps: This recipe works with chicken, shrimp, or even tofu if you want to make it vegetarian.
💡 Extra veggies: Snap peas, mushrooms, or shredded carrots would be delicious additions.
